Step 1: First things first, adjust the steering wheel down and out to give yourself more room to work. Step 2: Grab your pry tool and remove the factory cluster bezel. It is only held in with retainer clips. Step 3: Place the cluster bezel off to the side. 2 ...

Step 4: Next, on the left side of steering wheel, remove the trim using your pry tool. Step 5: Pop out your headlight controls. No need to fully disconnect them; they can hang out while we proceed. Step 6: Pull the trim below the steering wheel out; again, you do not need to fully remove this part. 3 ...

Step 7: Next, we need to do the same to the right of the steering wheel. To start, remove the rubber mat from above the radio screen. Step 8: You'll see two 7mm screws that need to be removed. Step 9: From there, the radio screen is only held in with retainer clips. Pop out the radio screen and radio bezel. You don't need to fully remove the radio screen; it can hang out. 4 ...

Step 10: Using your pry tool, pop out the trim around the push to start button. Disconnect the bush to start button and place it off to the side. Step 11: Below the push to start button, remove the trim from around the gear shifter. Step 12: Next, we should be able to remove the four screws holding on the steering wheel shroud. Step 13: Remove the last two 7mm screws holding the steering wheel shroud on. Step 14: There are still retainer clips holding the shroud in place. Pull the shroud back to free the retainer clips. Step 15: You now have access to the left lower 7mm screw holding the factory cluster in place. Remove the screw. 6 ...

Step 16: You can remove the right lower 7mm screw holding the factory cluster in place. Step 17: There are two more 7mm screws at the top of the factory cluster. Remove both screws. Step 18: The factory cluster is now free; lean it forward and pull it from the dash. 7 ...

Step 19: With the factory cluster out, disconnect it from the factory cluster connection. Push the locking tab down and pull out to free the connector. Step 20: Take our interface harness for the cluster and plug in the factory cluster connector into our harness. Step 21: If you have a Uconnect 5 radio, we can add the extension to allow the Uconnect 5 radio's navigation to come in on the cluster upgrade. If you do not have Uconnect 5 then you can disregard this step and jump to step 27. Plug in the extension to the small black connector on our harness. Step 22: With the radio screen and bezel removed in step 9, we can remove the four 7mm screws holding the radio module into the dash. Step 23: Lean the radio module out, and you'll see the long black connector that our extension plugs into. Step 25: Plug in our extension into your Uconnect 5 module. Note: If you don't have this black connector on your Uconnect module then you do NOT have an Uconnect 5 radio in the vehicle. Step 40: Skip step 40 and 41 if you have a Uconnect 4 radio system. Genie programming is only needed for maps to show up in cluster for Uconnect 5 radios. Install the Security Gateway Module Bypass in the appropriate place. Then proceed with genie programming. This step is only needed for 2018+ vehicles. To find your vehicle's bypass location click the link: OBD Genie Bypass Step 41: Use the genie to program the vehicle for the new upgrade. I. Put vehicle into the run position. II. Wait 1 minute after putting the vehicle into run to plug in the genie programmer. III. The genie once plugged in will flash blue as it tries to program. IV. The genie will turn a solid green light once programming was completed successfully, programming can take 1-3 minutes long. V. Remove the genie and give the vehicle a sleep cycle. VI. To initiate a return, the customer is required to contact the customer service department by phone, live chat, or via the online ticket system at anytime within 30 days from the date-of-delivery. The representative will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which is required to process your return. A copy of a completed RMA form must be included with the return shipment to expedite the process. The return must be shipped within 7 days of the RMA issuance.
