- Page 4 6. Should you have to get Bumpers fitted, ensure to fit them on both sides Fig 5 7. Many trailers that do not have Trailer Steering Systems do not have Bumper systems (fig 5). Avoid using your Steering Ball System with these trailers, as the drawbars could make contact with the linkage on the Steering Ball System, and will damage it, or bend the pin attaching the keeper plate on the ball, or may cause other damage.
- Page 5 9. The standard for the Y off set is generally 250 mm – see fig 6 Fig 6 It may not always be possible to use the same Ball Steering System on all trailers as the standard in X, Y and Z direction can vary – consult with the trailer manufacturer on the correct offsets for multiple trailers.

- Page 8 INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Remove Plastic plugs (x4 off) from the 18mm Holes located to either side of the main 80mm ball. 2. Assemble using the M18*160 Bolts, M18 Nuts and M18 Nord-lock washers provided according to the layout above. If you are fitting a single type kit, you will need to fit a spacer block (supplied) in place of the missing assembly on the opposite side as shown.
