TAMARACK CHAIR COMPONENTS

Components Overview

Use provided tools only, power tools could damage product and make assembly difficult.

Lay Seat (A) flat on the ground with the CleverMade Logo on the outside of the left leg.
NOTE: Loosen nuts on rod that holds Seat (A) together with both Hex Wrenches (I) - one to secure and one to loosen.
Starting on the left side, place 1 Thin Slat (D) slat between each gap on the Seat (A), continue until all 10 Thin Slats (D) have been placed
NOTE: Be sure to align the top holes of the slats with the holes on the Seat (A).
Hand tighten 1 Endcap Screw (F) to 1 Connection Rod (E) and then slide on 1 Thick Slat (C). Endcap will nest into counter sunk hole for a flush finish.
Thread Connection Rod (E) with secured Thick Slat (C) through the Seat (A) and inserted Thin Slats (D), starting on the left.
NOTE: Push up on previous slat to allow rod to slide through holes. You may need to adjust slats slightly to line up the holes and allow the rod to pass through.

TO AVOID INJURY DO NOT PUT YOUR HAND OVER THE HOLE AS YOU ARE THREADING THE CONNECTION ROD THROUGH
Slide last Thick Slat (C) onto the end of the rod. Hand tighten 1 Endcap Screw (F) leaving slight gap. You will tighten all Endcap Screws once chair is completely built.

Fan out Back (B) on top of Seat (A). Making sure Thick Slats (C) are on the outside.

NOTE: Loosen nuts on rod that holds Back (B) together with both Hex Wrenches (I) - one to secure and one to loosen.
Hand tighten 1 Endcap Screw (F) to 1 Connection Rod (E)
Slide Connection Rod (E) first through the outer Thick Slat (C). Proceed to thread Connection Rod (E) through Back (B) planks. Alternate sliding the rod through Thin Slat (D) and plank. You will end with the rod going through the remaining Thick Slat (C).
NOTE: You may need to slightly raise BACK (B) portion to easily insert rod.

TO AVOID INJURY DO NOT PUT YOUR HAND OVER THE HOLE AS YOU ARE THREADING THE CONNECTION ROD THROUGH
Hand tighten Endcap Screw (F)
Stand up chair & tighten all Endcap Screws (F) with both Allen Wrenches (G) - one to secure and one to tighten.
Tighten all hex bolts in the 4 exposed holes using the Hex Wrenches (I). Then insert plugs (H) to cover exposed holes on the Back (B) and Seat (A) portion of chair.
Sit, relax, and enjoy your new Tamarack Chair.
