    BEFORE YOU GET STARTED READ INSTRUCTIONS FIRST Before you do anything, make sure to thoroughly read & follow these instructions. Failure to do so can result in injury to yourself, damage to the lift, and/or damage to your electronics. RISKS & SAFETY CONCERNS Serious injury, safety hazards, possibly even death may result if lift installation is not done properly.
  • Page 4 Safety Tips: • Make sure children are accounted for and at a safe distance from the area you’re working in, whether or not you are present at the area at all times. • Do not ware baggy or excessively loose clothing and, if you have longer hair, make sure to tie your hair so it will be out of the way.
  • Page 5 TEST LIFT FUNCTION Lift It™ tests all lifts and has thorough quality control methods in place to insure against a substandard lift leaving our facilities. However, a lift may still be damaged during shipping or handling. For this reason we strongly recommend plugging your lift in and running it up and down to insure that it functions properly before beginning installation.

    VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS Important Notice: For any lift combined with a television, there must be adequate ventilation for the television. Without proper ventilation, your television's warranty could be voided by the original manufacturer. Lack of proper ventilation may also cause your television to malfunction or overheat, this can result in damage to your television and, very possibly, a fire hazard.

  • Page 10 INSTALL THE LIFT IN PLACE SAFETY REMINDER: Especially with a larger lift, make sure you have a good solid grip on the lift before moving it into place, one that will allow you to comfortably place it into wherever you’re installing your lift.
  • Page 11 FASTEN INTO PLACE Use the eight counter sink screws provided (Illustration #F) to secure the lift into place by fastening the vertical rails to the sides of where you’re installing your lift – again, you must be sure the rails are parallel before fastening the lift into place so that the lift will not be damaged (Illustration #H, Picture #14).

  • Page 17 RF (RADIO-FREQUENCY) • Lift It Wireless Remote Control (Illustration #R): This compact-sized radio-frequency remote operates at distances of up to 30 feet. To operate the lift using this remote: Press and hold the UP button to raise the lift, the light on the remote will come on and the lift will move up for as long as there is distance left to go and the key is held down.

    IR (INFRA-RED) An IR sensor cable is now included with each lift! • Installer Provided Wireless Controller: IR sensor cable not provided. The Lift It control box is an IR ready system. IR allows you to use the lift’s UP and DOWN feature through any universal IR remote control. An IR sensor is needed to use this feature, this sensor can only be obtained from Lift It by special order.
