All new hardware Powering the R3 is our new MCU 3.0 chip, designed to interface with the new ESC 3.0 controller and ExSkate app. Boards with the older ESC 2.0 (X1 Max, Flex ER, Wave, Atlas Carbon, and earlier generations) are not compatible.

Board Firmware Auto-Update A prompt will appear on the remote when downloading ﬁrmware from the app if a new version is available for your board. Selecting YES will start the board update once the remote ﬁrmware is installed and remote restarted. NEW : V 1 .
