The lightweight, hand-held, electronic digital manometer is designed to allow convenient and accurate in-line pressure
verification of low pressure ventilation systems. The digital manometer can be used to verify operating pressures of up to
70 cm H
O. NOTE: The manometer should not be used outside of its operating temperature range (+50° to +100° F) due
2
to possible inaccuracies. Refer to the cautions and specifications before use.
CAUTIONS
Due to the sensitive nature of the circuitry, condensation will
●
cause measurement errors. This manometer is rated for non-
condensing humidity conditions only.
Periodically check the pressure connection port for obstructions.
●
While a partial obstruction may not affect accurate operation, it
may slow response time. Never try to clear the nozzle with a high
pressure gas source. Pressures over one (1) psi will permanently
damage the sensor.
NOTES
The manometer should be kept clean and dry at all times. If the
●
instrument is cold stored, there is a strong probability that condensation will form on the internal circuity and
temporarily offset the accuracy of the display. If this occurs, turn the unit off, and place it in a warm, dry area until it
comes to room temperature. When storing the device between uses, leave the manometer circuit open to
atmosphere. To preserve battery life, be sure that the manometer is turned off.
When high operating temperature, pressure, and humidity extremes are experienced simultaneously, accuracy may
●
be reduced to +/- 0.5 cm H
It is recommended that the digital manometer be calibrated once a year. It should be checked periodically for
●
accuracy.
SYSTEM FEATURES
LCD Display: The 3-digit display indicates the measured pressure with +/- 0.3 cm H
●
Low Battery Indicator: This will continuously illuminate when the unit is on if there is inadequate battery power to
●
maintain system accuracy.
ON/OFF Switch: Low profile rocker switch.
●
Zero Adjustment: The offset adjust thumbwheel allows the zero to be precisely adjusted. The full range of the control
●
is +/- 4.0 cm H
O minimum.
2
Pressure Connection Port: Accepts 3/16" I.D. manometer tubing.
●
NOTE: Only tubing with a smooth inner lumen should be used. (Approximately 6 feet of tubing included.)
Battery Housing: Accepts a standard 9-volt alkaline battery. (One battery included.)
