W-DMX AND CRMX RECEIVER

INTRODUCTION
The iDMX stick is a compact W-DMX and CRMX
™
Cameo spotlights equipped with the iDMX port. An external power supply is not required to operate
the spotlight since the iDMX Stick provides it with power.
SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Please read this user manual carefully.
2. Keep all information and instructions in a safe place.
3. Follow the instructions.
4. Observe all warnings. Do not remove any safety instructions or other
information from the iDMX stick.
5. Only use the iDMX stick as properly intended.
6. Do not allow fluids to enter the iDMX stick.
7. Do not open the iDMX stick; do not carry out any modifications on it.
8. Unplug the iDMX stick from the spotlight before cleaning it. Use a lightly moistened cloth
to clean the device .

SETUP
Screw the antenna onto the iDMX stick's antenna connection and plug the stick into the spotlight's
iDMX port.
OPERATION
No special settings must be made in the spotlight menu for W-DMX control. Just select the desired
DMX start address and the desired DMX mode. Keep the W-DMX transmitter and W-DMX receiver
as close as possible during pairing. To prepare the iDMX stick for pairing, press and hold the reset
button for approx. 3 seconds until the blue status LED is fixed on. Now start pairing in the W-DMX
transmitter (see instructions for the W-DMX transmitter). During pairing, the green LED indicator
in the reset button also flashes in rapid succession and Quality LED lights up in Red. As soon as
pairing is successfully completed, both the green LED indicator in the reset button and the Quality
LED light up continually. The maximum distance between the two devices is dependent on the
ambient conditions and the W-DMX transmitter's performance. In case of Status led blinking at 1Hz
frequency, please check DMX connection on Transmitter's side. In case of Status led blinking at 5Hz
frequency, please check power on Transmitter's side.
