Page 8: Assembling Swing
Assembling Swing: Insert motor housing into the base assembly. A “clicking” sound will confirm the motor housing and base assembly are properly locked in place. Pull up on the motor housing after attachment to ensure it is securely fastened. Press the left and right handle adjustment buttons at the same time.

Using Buckle & Harness Straps: 1 - Release Buckle: Locate the button in the center of the buckle and press it firmly to release the harness straps. 2 - Lock Buckle: Slide the shoulder harness buckle into the lap belt buckle (A).

Rotating Seat: position 1 position 2 position 3 Seat can be adjusted to 3 positions. The seat can be rotated by 180 degrees. Turn the seat by grasping the handle with both hands and turning left or right. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the seat is locked into one of the 3 possible positions.

Adjusting Recline: Recline can be adjusted to 3 positions. Squeeze recline adjustment button on the back of the seat (A) and push down or pull up (B) to adjust the seat back to the desired recline position. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the seat is locked into one of the 3 recline positions.

Using Rock-Stop Foot: Locate rock-stop foot on back of rocker. Rotate it fully down. This will keep the rocker steady. To allow rocking, rotate rock-stop foot upward fully. Using Vibration: Battery compartment is located behind the vibration module, under the seat pad. Remove battery cover using a flat-head screwdriver.

Using Control Panel: Battery compartment is located on the back side of the motor housing. Remove battery cover using a flat-head screwdriver. Insert four “D” alkaline, disposable, 1.5V batteries. Using AC Adapter: Find AC adapter jack at base of motor housing. Plug in small end of AC adapter cord. Plug the other end into your home’s wall outlet. IMPORTANT: If the top left light on the control panel is flashing blue, please check to ensure that you are using the correct AC adapter supplied by Joie.

Using Toys: To attach toys, thread the toy straps through the slots at the top of the handle. Using Infant Insert: To release the buckle, locate button in the center of the buckle and press it firmly to release the harness straps. To attach the infant insert, thread the shoulder and waist harness straps through the corresponding openings.

Care & Maintenance: Cleaning: Storage: To wash seat pad and infant insert, refer to care tags on product.
