Cautions 1) Voltage use not higher or lower 10% of the voltage specified on the nameplate, which is on the backside of the instrument. 2) Keep the power cord and sensor cable away from the hot plate while heating. 3) Put the container and liquid suitably on the top plate before operating the instrument. -

Operating Manual 7.3. Operation interface 7.3.1. Main display Touch screen lock automatically without any operating for 30 seconds. Menu display Press left arrow icon to enter menu display Operation mode Temperature control Rotation setting Alarm beep setting Temperature unit Timer Sensor calibration Communication port setting 7.3.2.1. Operation mode Tap on the icon or turn and press the right knob to enter into the operation mode. There are two mode options to operate the device. - Page 12 Operating Manual 7.3.2.2. Temperature control Tap on the icon or turn and press the right knob to enter into the temperature control. Safe temp is the maximum temperature of the device. If the temperature sensor gets the value, the device will stop heating. ΔT is the difference between the set value and actual value.

Tap on ON or OFF icon or turn the right knob to choose between the two icons. ON means audible alarm is activated and OFF means that there is only visual alarm is available when the alarm is triggered.
- Page 14 Operating Manual starting heating. When the timer comes to the end, the device will stop heating automatically. You can choose if the device stop or continue the stirring. Call up stop stirring, choose Yes. Tap on No icon to choose to continue stopping stirring, when the heating finish with the timer coming to the end.

The temperature and curve trend shown on the display provides information about how the temperature is regulated through curve graph. The user can choose to display only one parameter from Temp and Speed or show the two parameters trend. -

WIGGENS Infrared Hot Plate/Stirrer WH280 7.5.2. RS-485 interface The modbus protocol use 16-bit registers for data transmission with RS-485 serial port. Data that use more than 16 bits must be divided into several register. For values that are divided into several registers, the registers are arranged according to the Modbus format. -

8.2. Maintenance Do not attempt to service or repair a WIGGENS hot plate / stirrer. If the hot plate / stirrer housing is opened the warranty becomes void. Contact WIGGENS for return authorization and return instructions. Only qualified personnel are authorized to perform configuration, installation, maintenance and repairs of the instrument. -
