AMIC. Standards & Tubing Connection The AMIC uses a “quick connection” system. To plug the tubing to the AMIC, simply push the tube inside the fitting until it stops. To unplug the tubes, it is necessary to press down the outer ring while pulling off the tubing and it will disconnect.
Vent does not need to be connected. Ensure all the tubing is securely attached. Note: Standards and Water can be placed at AMIC level or above. Sample can be placed at AMIC level or maximum 0.75m below. Probes Installation The unit requires two probes to work (Multi ION probe & pH probe). In the Multi Probe, supplied sensors are already inserted. Multi probe is usually supplied inserted into the cell and connected to the meter.
MAC address. Check the IP address assigned in the display screen of the AMIC. It is shown for a few seconds when initializing the system. If you have issues with the IP shown in the display, you can also get it following the method detailed on the troubleshooting section.
Client, etc using Siemens TIA Portal software as example. Control commands to control unit (server) Your Modbus client software needs to set to true (for more than 1 second) these variables to send orders to the AMIC Control Unit. MODBUS Address Variable Name...

A7-303-MB Userguide V1.3 In this part of the software, you can add more Modbus devices (more than one AMIC) following the same procedure. You only need their corresponding IP address. HMI tag configuration In this section, you can define a new table to incorporate the AMIC variables for your SCADA/HMI project. For guidance, you may refer to the tables provided in the example.
Here we can add widgets to our screens that can operate the AMIC, and make them show its results. I/O Fields for Integers You can use an I/O Field to show the current value of previously defined HMI_Tags. In example, show AMIC Real Time Clock Hour. Add I/O Field in your screen and configure: General –>...

A7-303-MB Userguide V1.3 Buttons You can create buttons to send orders to the AMIC Devices by changing the previously defined HMI_Tags. In example, a button to switch between Manual / Automatic In Events, you can configure: Press –> SetBit –> HMI_Tag –> AMIC_Automatic Release –>...
Type cmd and press enter Type arp -a and press enter Look if the device is already listed by looking at the MAC address list and check if the one from your AMIC appears (in example: 02-9B-29-xx-xx-xx): If it does not appear, skip to step number 6.
A7-303-MB Userguide V1.3 In example: modpoll -t 3 -r 8 -1 192.168.1.130 Write the value obtained to the Modbus address 4x400015, with your Modbus Client, or with modpoll: modpoll -t 4 -r 15 <your_amic_ip_address> <read_value> In example: modpoll -t 4 -r 16 192.168.1.130 17060 Take out both probes, rinse them with deionized water and dry them with a tissue paper without touching the tips in the process.
