Hints and Tips RECORDING LOOPS WITHOUT THE BPM ENGINE You can still record loops, even if there is no beat information available to trigger the BPM engine. First, manually set the BPM value (see page 9), then press the [RE-SAMPLE] button and [LOOP] button to create the non- synchronized loops.
Specification *Because audio input/loop sync can drift as time progresses due to factors such as fluctuating deck drive speed, slipmat and the quality of the acetate/vinyl record (the master track) itself, you may wish to SOLO the individual sample (or all recorded [LOOP] pads) and realign using the [EDIT] jog dial. GRABBER™ will have time stretched the samples for you to play at the same speed as the master output but you will need to beat mix the kick/snare /hi hats as you would on a real turntable.
