• Cushions & foam pads should be clean with
mild soap and water or alcohol swabs and
allow to air dry.
• It is recommended to check cushions and foam
pads at frequent intervals for cracking and
leakage as these may deteriorate with use.
Replace ear muffs as and when necessary.
• Store in cool, dry place in included container.
Do not leave in direct sunlight.
4. Wearing/ usage recommendations
• The ear-muffs are fitted, adjusted and
maintained in accordance with the
manufacturer's instruction.
• The ear-muffs are worn at all times in noisy
surroundings.
• The ear-muffs are regularly inspected for
serviceability.
• Check and make sure that the earmuff is worn
correctly and continuously by the child.
• The time a child stays in a noise area should
be minimised. Excessive usage time can
have adverse long-term effects (e.g. due
to the pressure on the head). A usage time
of approximately 90 minutes without break
and approximately 3hours per day in total is
recommended.
5. Notes and Warning
• Noise reduction will be adversely affected by
anything that impairs the seal of the earmuff
cushions against the head, such as thick
spectacle frames, hair etc
• Cushions may deteriorate with use and should
be renewed regularly.
• The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions
may affect the acoustic performance of the
ear-muffs.
