Battery Insertion The battery must be installed correctly or the earplugs will not work. The battery door will not close if the battery is upside down. • Remove the tab on the battery before inserting it in the device. • Open the battery door and insert the battery with the flat side facing up. -

Insertion & Removal Insertion • Make sure the eartip is clean. • Pull the ear up and out while inserting. • Twist and push gently until the eartip seals in the ear canal. • When using one of the 3-flange eartips, moistening slightly may ease insertion. -

Battery Life Warning: Performance may deteriorate with battery usage. Typical period of continuous use expected from the earplug battery is 300 hours. Battery life is estimated at 2-3 weeks for continuous operation. Each device uses one #312 zinc-air battery. It is not necessary to recycle this battery. -

What to do: • Check to see if the battery door is closed (device turned on). • Check battery; replace if dead. • Clean the eartip and the end of the device. • Check the filter - remove the filter - listen for sound to return before replacing the filter •... - Page 11 Cleaning Simple cleaning with the tool provided will keep the eartips clean and the devices working properly. • Clean after each use.
