Functional description handheld transmitter
The radio hand-held transmitter operates the central locking via a
button (A).
When locking or unlocking the vehicle, if installed, activates or
deactivates the immobilizer and the alarm system, the immobilizer
and alarm system are also activated or deactivated.
When the hand-held transmitter is operated, the LED (B) lights up
briefly and flashes when the battery is low.

Battery replacement
Access is protected by a safety screw depending on
the country; please contact specialist personnel or an authorized specialist dealer.
You will need a suitable precision screwdriver (Size: 0), a thin lever tool
(electrically non-conductive, e.g. wooden tool/ wooden stick) and a new
battery > CR1632 < (Fig. 1). Be sure to open the housing over a flat work
surface.
Unscrew the housing and lift the cover with the screw slightly on the side
with the ring eyelet. > Caution: now carefully slide it out of the anchorage.
(in the direction of the arrow, Fig. 2).
Now remove the circuit board from the housing. The battery holder is
located on the back of the circuit board. (Fig. 3).
Slide the battery out of the holder from the inside of the board, towards the
edge (Fig. 4).
Note the polarity of the new battery (+ and - ), insert it from the edge into
the holder (Fig. 5), the positive side must be on top or visible. Push the
battery into the socket so that it is flush with the outer edge and does not
protrude over it.
Put the board back into the housing, pay attention to the position of the
pushbutton, that it is in line with the pushbutton rubber of the housing.
Push the cover back into the anchorage of the housing as described
before during disassembly. Now tighten the screw again, not too much
to avoid damaging the screw holder (0.15NM with 2 fingers).
Operate the button (B) and pay attention to the LED - if it lights up briefly,
the process is complete and the handheld transmitter is ready for operati-
on (Fig. 6). Attention: After changing the battery, the hand transmitter may
have to be re-synchronized with the vehicle. (see workshop instructions)

Funktionsbeschreibung Handsender
Der Funkhandsender bedient die Zentralverriegelung über einen
Taster (A).
Durch das Ver-/ oder Entriegeln des Fahrzeuges wird, wenn verbaut,
die Wegfahrsperre und die Alarmanlage aktiviert, bzw. deaktiviert.
Bei Bedienung des Handsenders leuchtet die Diode (B) kurz auf und
blinkt bei schwacher Batterie.

Batteriewechsel
Zugang ist länderspezi sch durch Sicherheitsschraube
geschützt; bitte Fachpersonal oder autorisierten Fachhändler beauftragen.
Benötigt wird ein passender Feinschraubendreher (Gr. 0), ein dünnes
Hebelwerkzeug (elektrisch nicht leitend, z.B. Holzstäbchen) und eine
neue Batterie > CR1632 < (Abb. 1). Bitte öffnen Sie das Gehäuse über
einer Ablagefläche.
Schrauben Sie das Gehäuse auf und heben Sie den Deckel mit der
Schraube leicht an der Seite mit der Ringöse ab. > Achtung: schieben
Sie ihn nun vorsichtig aus der Verankerung. (in Pfeilrichtung, Abb. 2)
Nehmen Sie nun die Platine aus dem Gehäuse. Der Batteriehalter
befindet sich auf der Rückseite der Platine. (Abb. 3).
Schieben Sie die Batterie von der Innenseite der Platine, in Richtung
Rand, aus der Halterung (Abb. 4)
Beachten Sie die Polung der neuen Batterie (+ und - ), stecken Sie
diese vom Rand in die Halterung (Abb. 5), die Plusseite muss oben bzw.
sichtbar sein. Schieben Sie die Batterie so in die Buchse, dass Sie mit
dem Außenrand bündig abschließt und nicht darüber hinaus ragt.
Legen Sie die Platine wieder zurück in das Gehäuse, achten Sie dabei auf
die Position des Tasters, dass dieser mit dem Tast-Gummi des Gehäuses
übereinstimmt. Schieben Sie den Deckel wie zuvor, beim auseinander
bauen beschrieben, zurück in die Verankerung des Gehäuses. Drehen
Sie nun die Schraube wieder fest, nicht zu sehr um eine Beschädigung
der Schraubenaufnahme zu vermeiden (0,15Nm mit 2 Fingern).
Bedienen Sie den Taster (B) und achten auf die Leuchtdiode – leuchtet
diese kurz auf - ist der Vorgang abgeschlossen und der Handsender ist
betriebsbereit (Abb. 6). Achtung: Nach dem Batteriewechsel muss der
Handsender eventuell neu mit dem Fahrzeug synchronisiert werden.

Description du fonctionnement de la télécom-
mande
La télécommande régit le verrouillage central via un bouton-poussoir
(A).
Le verrouillage ou le déverrouillage du véhicule active ou désactive le
système antidémarrage et le système d'alarme, s'ils sont installés. Lors
de l'utilisation de la télécommande, la diode (B) s'allume brièvement et
clignote lorsque la batterie est faible.

Remplacement de la pile
selon le pays ; veuillez faire appel à un personnel spécialisé ou à un revendeur
agréé.
Il vous faut un tournevis de précision adapté (taille: 0), un levier fin (non
conducteur d'électricité, p. ex. un bâtonnet en bois) et une pile neuve >
CR1632 < (fig. 1). Veuillez ouvrir le boîtier après l'avoir posé sur une
surface de dépôt.
Dévissez le boîtier et soulevez légèrement le couvercle avec la vis sur
le côté avec l'anneau. > Attention : à présent, faites-le glisser avec
précaution hors de son ancrage. (dans le sens de la flèche, fig. 2).
Retirez maintenant la platine du boîtier. Le support de pile se trouve à
l'arrière de la platine. (fig. 3).
Faites glisser la pile de l'intérieur de la platine, en direction du bord, hors
du support (fig. 4).
Respectez la polarité de la nouvelle pile (+ et - ), insérez-la dans le
support par le bord (fig. 5), le côté positif doit être en haut ou visible.
Introduisez la pile dans son emplacement de manière à ce qu'elle
affleure avec le bord extérieur et ne dépasse pas.
Ensuite, remettez la platine dans le boîtier, en faisant attention à la
position du bouton-poussoir qui doit correspondre au caoutchouc du
boîtier. Repoussez le couvercle dans l'ancrage du boîtier comme décrit
précédemment lors du démontage. Resserrez ensuite la vis, mais pas
trop pour éviter d'endommager son logement (0,15NM avec 2 doigts).
Actionnez le bouton (B) et surveillez la diode lumineuse - si elle s'allume
brièvement, l'opération est terminée et la télécommande est prête à
fonctionner (Fig. 6). Attention : après le remplacement de la pile, cette
télécommande doit éventuellement être synchronisée de nouveau avec
le véhicule. (voir le manuel d'atelier)
