The ARAX-60 MLU is a medium-format single-lens reflex (SLR) camera, designed for photographers who demand exceptional
image quality and mechanical precision.
With a frame size of 6×6 cm (ARAX-60, 12 frames) or 6×4.5 cm (ARAX-645, 16 frames), it combines classic medium-format

Each ARAX-60 camera is carefully hand-selected from the finest Kiev-60 bodies and undergoes an extensive mechanical
enhancement process.

    3. OPERATING PROCEDURE 3.1 Camera Loading The camera can be loaded in daylight, though it is preferable to load it in shaded conditions. To load the film: To open the back cover 17, first slide button 25 to the side, then press it down. Unlock and turn locks 22 and 24 counterclockwise to release the pivots 18 and 19.
  • Page 4 Right LED lit = overexposure • Slowly rotate the biggest ring 27: Turn counterclockwise if the left LED is lit. Turn clockwise if the right LED is lit. • Correct exposure is indicated when both LEDs are illuminated simultaneously. • Choose the preferred speed/aperture combination using the exposure calculator scales 27 and 29.
