IMPORTANT: Please read this instruction carefully before assembly and save these
instruction for future use.
** Please note that it is normal for some flocking to fall off when setting up the products.**
ASSEMBLY:
1) Your potted tree set consist one 4 foot tree and one 5 foot tree. Place the pots on a flat surface. Connect the
tree sections as shown in the diagram below.
2) Connect the light string plug in the 5 foot tree as shown in the diagram, making sure the connectors are
inserted in the correct orientation and polarity.
3) Shape the branches by working from the bottom of the tree upwards. Gently pull down the branches.
Straighten the branches and fan out the tips.
4) After shaping the tree, step back and take an overall look. Shift branches to fill any gaps. Slightly upsweep all
branch tips for a uniform look.
5) Open the lid of the battery box by releasing the locks. Insert 4 AA* batteries into the compartment of the 4ft
tree, Insert 3C* batteries into the compartment of the 5ft tree, making sure that the batteries are in the correct
orientation. Close the lid by the locks.
6) Press the button on the battery box once for timer mode, twice to turn the lights constantly on, and a third time
to turn the lights off or reset the timer. The built-in timer mode causes the lights to turn off and on in a cycle: on
for 6 hours then off for 18. The user should initially turn on the lights at a specific time of their choice, and then
the lights will turn on every day at approximately the same time.
7) Replace batteries when the lights become dim. Remove batteries from unit when it is not in use.
