Please read the following instructions and warnings
carefully BEFORE assmebly and USE of the bassinet.
Tools required: Phillips head screwdriver
and small adjustable wrench (not included).
Vibration & Sound Unit requires 3 "AA" batteries (not included).
KEEP THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR FUTURE USE.
Adult assembly required.
For use with children from birth to 15 lbs.
Keep small parts away from children.
Fashions may vary.
WARNING:
Failure to follow these warnings and instructions
could result in serious injury or death.
FALL HAZARD:
• To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant
begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 15 lbs.
whichever comes first.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants can suffocate
• In gaps between an extra pad and side of the bassinet
• On soft bedding
• NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter or padding.
Use ONLY the pad provided by Summer Infant.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy
infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise
advised by your physician.
• NEVER move, lift or transport bassinet while child is in it.
• ALWAYS lock casters when child is in bassinet.
• ALWAYS ensure that the bassinet sleeping area is secure to base.
• ALWAYS use on flat, stable surfaces
• NEVER use near stairs.
• Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string
around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or cradle or attach
strings to toys.

  • Page 3 to assemble bassinet frame: Note: For Step 1, orient X-Frame with Horizontal Support Bar connectors facing inside of frame (Figure A). Step 1: Slide one X-Frame onto U-Bar until spring pin locks in place (Figure A). Slide second X-Frame onto same U-Bar until spring pin locks in place. Repeat until both U-Bars are fully connected.
  • Page 4 to assemble bassinet: Step 1: Place metal rim on floor so that metal arms are facing upwards (Figure F). Place floorboard inside metal rim so that snaps are facing down. Feed 2 metal support arms through slots on floorboard (Figure G). Pull back firmly and insert other 2 support arms.
  • Page 5 to assemble bassinet (continued): Step 5: Using the four screws provided, secure bassinet floorboard to the frame aligning holes (Figure K). Helpful Hint: Align holes and fasten one at a time. Snap all snaps located on the inner skirt to the bassinet floorboard (Figure L) Step 6: Insert sheeted mattress pad into Bassinet (Figure M).
  • Page 6 vibration & sound unit: Step 1: Install batteries in the Vibrations & Sound Unit (requires 3 “AA” batteries, not included). Unlatch battery door using a Phillips head screwdriver. Insert 3 “AA” batteries making sure the + and – are facing the correct way. The battery compartment is engraved for clarity.
  • Page 7 to use bassinet (continued): casters To prevent bassinet from rolling, press down on caster lock lever to lock (2 casters on same side of bassinet) (Figure W). to clean: bassinet canopy Surface wash, air dry. bassinet skirt Step 1: Remove bassinet from frame by removing 4 screws, and slip off bassinet skirt. Step 2: Hand wash in cold water.
