1. Unpack & Power On To configure and connect the MGW310, you will need a Windows PC or MAC computer and be near the Wi-Fi network you intend to use for data transmission. Ubuntu should also work, but use of a Mobile Phone for setup is not recommended at this time. -

Page 8: Configure Network Connection With Ethernet Cable
If an ethernet connection is not possible the unit can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. Prior to connecting to the Internet, the MGW310 is in Access Point (AP) mode. The network SSID will be MGW310_xxxxxx where the xxxxx code is the last 6-digits of the 12-digit Station Serial Number. - Page 9 The different parts of this home page will be explained in another part of the guide. Ensure your PC or MAC is now connected to the same Wi-Fi SSID as entered above. Finding the newly assigned local IP address of the MGW310 can be a little tricky. The simplest route is to check the table of connected devices on your Wi-Fi router’s web page. -
