Use a 1-3/8” hole saw to create an opening for the 3-way Thru Hull Plug. A convenient location for the 3-way Thru Hull Plug is in the molded recess on the sidewall of the cockpit intended for installing a Hobie Hookless Map Pocket (pn 78565001).

Installing the Transducer Run the Transducer Cable Feed the entire length of the transducer cable through the scupper Transducer scupper above the transducer 1” hole cavity and fasten the transducer mounting plate into place using a manual Phillips screwdriver. Installing the Transducer & Power Cable Run the Cables to the Cockpit Run the transducer cable out of the opening you’ve created in the cockpit near your chosen fish finder screen location. Installing the Transducer & Power Cable Installing the 3-way Plug Install the appropriate rubber fitting(s) from your Fishfinder Fit Kit around both the transducer and power cables. Remove the solid plug(s) from the 3-way plug housing and press the rubber fitting and cable into the housing of the 3-way plug.
Powering the Unit Connect the power cable 1a) Locate the small red and black wires that are coming from the transducer power cable. You will need to connect these to the pigtail wire assembly found in your fishfinder power kit. If desired, install the fuse box and fuse provided by Lowrance in the fishfinder package before going on to the next step.
