    Connectors headphones You can connect standard headphones to this jack if you want to play at rest or late at night. "Headphone Jack 1" is the jack 1 for the headphones. If you connect headphones here, you can hear the piano sound through the headphones as well as from the piano itself.

    Ranges in the automatic accompaniment There are several types of auto accompaniment sections that allow you to customize the accompaniment arrangement to the song you are playing, such as Intro, Main (A, B), Fill In (A, B) and Ending. You can easily switch between them while playing to create your own personal arrangements.

    Volume SHIFT TEMPO 1. Hold down the SHIFT key and press ACCOMP+ ACCOMP or ACCOMP-, the display shows the value of the currently set volume. The value range is from 0 to 127. 2. Use ACCOMP+/- or +/YES and -/NO to change the value.

    Mixer With this function the volume of the different tracks can be changed. SHIFT 1. Press the SHIFT and MIXER keys. The MIXER display shows the first parameter and the current number. 2. A d j u s t the volume to your liking (in the range from 0 to 127) using the rotary wheel or the +/YES and -/NO buttons.

    Piano mode In this mode you can play like on an acoustic piano. Various functions are available for this purpose: Piano Rhythms (5), Broken Chords (5) and three Endings. The assignment is similar to the guitar mode: press the keys A6 to C7 to play an ending. The black keys above C4 are not assigned in this mode.

    Pedal function The pedal can be assigned various functions that give your playing more natural expression. You can also find details about this in the chapter "Pedal types". 1. Sustain Pedal (SPd Sust) This pedal function simulates a damper effect of an acoustic piano which makes the notes sound longer.

    Function menu Press the SHIFT and FUNCTION keys to enter the function menu; the current function appears in the display. Use the rotary knob or the +/YES and -/NO keys to change the parameters. The available harmonies can be found in the adjacent table. Pressing the +/YES and -/NO keys simultaneously restores the factory setting. With the harmony types echo, tremolo or trill, the effect can be further adjusted.
