    2 Overview 2.1 What is FlashRunner HS? FlashRunner HS is a multi-board distributed system designed for high-speed multi-device true-parallel Pre-Programming and In-System Programming. It represents the natural evolution of the FlashRunner 2.0 technology. FlashRunner HS has been designed to program eMMC memories, NAND memories, microcontrollers and serial memories.

    FlashRunner HS is composed by a single-board central unit named FlashRunner HS Control Unit (FR HS CU) and by up to 8 single-board peripheral units named FlashRunner HS Active Module (FR HS AM). The peripheral units are intended to be placed in the near proximity of the target device.

    2.1.2 FlashRunner HS Active Module FlashRunner HS Active Module board is intended as a peripheral unit of FlashRunner HS Control Unit. Its compact and very small form factor allows to place it in the near proximity of the target device. Data, commands and power supply are provided by Control Unit through a single USB type-C cable.

    LAN Connector LAN Connector is used to communicate with host PC system. Use provided cross cable to connect FlashRunner HS Control Unit with your PC. For more information, please refer to chapter 2.2.3 and to related documentation on FlashRunner HS Programmer's Manual in order to correctly setup your host PC system.
