Proper care and operation will ensure that your dryer
will give you superior results for many years to come.
Please read this booklet carefully before use.

element and stop heating. The dryer must
be unplugged from the power supply and
the filter screen cleaned. After the dryer
has cooled, it can be turned back on.
The front air outlet grill can become very
hot. Do not touch this grill and make sure
that the power cord does not come in
contact with this area.
ALCI POWER PLUG
Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI), a
safety feature that renders it inoperable
under some abnormal conditions, such
as immersion in water. To make sure the
ALCI is functioning properly and the
exclusive water sensing system (ALCI)
is working, perform the following test.
Plug in hairdryer and press test button
on plug.
Hairdryer will stop working. There will be
an audible click and reset button will pop
out.
To reset ALCI with a reset button: Unit
should be unplugged. Then push reset
button in, and reinsert plug into outlet.
Be sure to repeat test every time you use
hair dryer to confirm ALCI is operational.
If ALCI is not functioning properly, return
hairdryer to service center.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This dryer can only be used with 110-125
volt power systems. Before using your new
hair dryer check that the power supply
voltage corresponds with that shown on
the dryer. DO NOT USE with 220-240 volt
power systems! Dryer electronics and
motor will suffer damage. Warranty will be
void if there is evidence of such damage.
Reference the switch settings for optimum
dryer performance.
The styling nozzle serves to concentrate
the airflow and work smaller sections of
hair.
Your dryer will have a removable filter
system. The filter ring and screen allows
you to keep your appliance free from
entrapped hairs and dust. A quarter turn
to the left disconnects the removable filter
ring and screen from the dryer. Remove
the filter screen and clean it with a brush.
Replace the filter ring and screen by
turning to the
right. Remember to clean your filter
regularly.
For your safety, your hair dryer is
equipped with a thermal-protective switch,
which prevents damage by overheating.
In the event of overheating the thermal-

It is important that if immersion
occurs,this unit be brought to a service
center.
Do not try to reset. Should the hairdryer go off and
the reset button pop out during use, this could
indicate a malfunction in the hair dryer. Remove plug
from outlet and allow the dryer to cool.
Reset the ALCI. Reinsert plug into outlet. Hairdryer
should function normally. If not, return to service
center for examination and repair.
