    Where appropriate, we suggest using the panel dedicated to research equipment. Consult with the MRI manufacturer/installer if you are unsure. See separate BOLDscreen 32 UHD User Guide [1] for safe operation of the BOLDscreen 32 UHD system. 1.4 Purpose Correct installation of the monitor and cabling is essential for safety and correct functioning of the MRI scanner.

    MR-safe. Safety labelling of the items is shown in Table 1. More safety warnings, relevant during use, are given in the BOLDscreen 32 UHD User Guide [1]. Table 1. MR safety labels. MR-SAFE. These items can go into the magnet room. No displacement with any field strength of any MRI scanner.

    An alternative to the AVI hub is a VuWall HDMI extender transmitter. This simply receives an HDMI input from the video source, and sends it via the fibre optic cable to the BOLDscreen 32 UHD. It is supplied with its own wall-mounted power supply with interchangeable region-specific pins. An HDMI cable is supplied to connect to a video source.

This filters the DC supply before it is routed within the sensitive magnet room.

    BOLDscreen 32 UHD as standard. 3.2.1 DC supply cable (when not supplied) The BOLDscreen 32 UHD is powered by 48V DC from a mains PSU located outside of the screened room. Due to differences between installations, customers/installers may choose to source DC cabling themselves to be routed and terminated on-site.

The cable should have an outside diameter between 5.3mm and 6.2mm if the supplied Lemo connectors are to be used.

Perform assembly outside the magnet room. 1. Remove the base, upright and VESA plate (Section 3.1.18.1) from the box.

Connecting it to a bulkhead connector (inside the trolley or on the Cable IO unit) requires cap releasing a retaining ring and releasing a locking mechanism to remove the dust cap (see Figure 54).
