Page 10 3. Bedienung 3.1. Kalibrierungsmodus Die Kalibrierung muss einmalig durchgeführt werden. Sie hat im Stillstand und mit eingesetztem Akku-Pack zu erfolgen. Beim Erststart wird sie automatisch aufgerufen. Besitzt das E-Bike keinen Tacho, ist die Kalibrierung nicht erforderlich. Die Kalibrierung besteht aus zwei Abschnitten. Zunächst wird grob kalibriert, anschließend fein. Im ersten Abschnitt der Kalibrierung wird am Tacho eine steigende Geschwindigkeit ausgegeben.
Page 11 Kalibrierung abbrechen: Wird das E-Bike im Kalibrierungsmodus gefahren, bricht die Kalibrierung ab und der sIMPLEk springt in den 1:1-Modus zurück. In dem Fall fand keine Kalibrierung statt. E-Bikes ohne Display: In diesem Fall ist keine Kalibrierung notwendig. Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme ist dem Modul durch sofortiges Losfahren bzw.
Page 12 3.2. 1:1-Modus Der 1:1-Modus wird immer gestartet, nachdem das E-Bike im Tuningmodus oder im 1:1-Modus länger als 15 Sekunden betrieben und abgeschaltet wurde. In diesem Modus verhält sich das E-Bike, als wäre es nicht modifiziert.
Page 13 Strecke eingeholt ist. Sobald die Differenz ausgeglichen ist, fällt die Anzeige auf 0.0 und das E-Bike schaltet sich selbstständig nach einiger Zeit ab. Wird das E-Bike zuvor abgeschaltet, speichert der sIMPLEk die Differenz und holt die Strecke später auf. Hierdurch wird die Höchstgeschwindigkeit sowie die zurückgelegte Strecke/Gesamtstrecke korrekt wiedergegeben.

Page 15 Unplug the speed sensor (see the following pictures “Speed sensor position”). Now connect the male plug of the sIMPLEk to the position of the previously unplugged speed sensor. The speed sensor is then connected to the female connector of the sIMPLEk.

Page 22 3. Operation 3.1. Calibrationmode The calibration must be carried out once. It must be carried out at a standstill and with the battery pack inserted. It is called up automatically on the first start. If the e-bike does not have a speedometer, calibration is not required. The calibration consists of two sections.
Page 23 Cancel calibration: If the e-bike is ridden in calibration mode, the calibration is aborted and the sIMPLEk jumps back to 1:1 mode. In this case, no calibration took place. E-bikes without a display: In this case, no calibration is necessary. When using the module for the first time, you must inform the module that there is no display by driving off immediately or spinning the rear wheel.
Page 24 3.2. 1:1-Mode 1:1 mode is always started after the e-bike has been operated in tuning mode or 1:1 mode for more than 15 seconds and switched off. In this mode, the e-bike behaves as if it were not modified.
Page 25 As soon as the difference has been compensated, the display drops to 0.0 and the e-bike switches itself off after a while. If the e-bike is switched off beforehand, the sIMPLEk saves the difference and catches up later. As a result, the maximum speed and the distance traveled/total distance are correctly displayed.
