THONK SYNTH Eurorack DIY Kit Version 1.0 03 VCA Instructions SOLDER JOINTS Your solder joints should look like those shown as ‘OK’ below, they should have that neat conical shape on BOTH sides of the PCB. If they don’t look the same on both sides then stop! Work out why from the soldering guides linked and don’t continue until you are getting those results. -

THONK SYNTH Eurorack DIY Kit Version 1.0 03 VCA Instructions BUILD INSTRUCTIONS First take the PCB and solder the 2x5 power header to the rear of the board (the side with the SMD components that are already pre soldered to the PCB). - Page 5 THONK SYNTH Eurorack DIY Kit Version 1.0 03 VCA Instructions Next find the metal standoff and one of the flat top screws. Secure the standoff to the board as pictured screwing it on from the same side of the PCB the headers are soldered onto.

- Page 7 THONK SYNTH Eurorack DIY Kit Version 1.0 03 VCA Instructions Place the panel over the components as pictured. First take the remaining flat top screw and secure it through the panel into the other side of the metal standoff. Apply the 6x jack nuts firmly but be careful not to overtighten.
