    PAMPEANA SUPER 11. PREPARATION FOR PLANTING 11.1. Header In order to lift the header, remove the linchpins (A) (figure 01), remove the pins (B) and the third-point arm (C). Afterwards, lift the header, fitting the holes (D) and (E) (figure 02). Place the pin (B) once more lo- cking it with the linchpin (A).

That amount should be proportional to the machine’s weight and the terrain slope. 11.3.1. Sower-Tractor hitch When performing the hitching or decoupling of the sower from the tractor, do it over flat and firm ground: 1- Perform the traverse with the tractor in slow motion towards the sower and be always aware in order to stop the tractor’s movement at any given time (breaking).

Tire pressure Using an ideal pressure for work allows perfect contact with the ground, maintaining a flexibility that is essential to the long durability of tires.

Seed distribution system Seed distribution is performed by a corrugated rotor (A) (figure 08), assembled on a distributor box (B), that is turned on by a square axis (C) with possibility of sliding over that axis, determining a bi- gger or smaller amount of seeds to be distributed.

Fertilizer transmission system The fertilizer amount adjustment in Kg/ha is performed interchanging the driving gear wheel Z14 (A in figure 10) and the driven gear wheel Z14/32 (B), the driven (C) and driving (E) cassettes. To adjust the cassettes, it is necessary to loosen the stretcher (E). To obtain the desired fertilizer amount, move the cassettes to the proper position according to table specifications, verifying also if drive and driven sprockets are in their correct positions.

    PAMPEANA SUPER 12.6. Transmission chains Transmission chains come out of the factory pre-adjusted according to the distance between the sprockets’ axis. If there is need to perform any maintenance or repair seams (B) (figure 13) or reductions (A), remove the cotter pin (C), removing the individual seams, reductions or links. IMPORTANT Keep the chains correctly aligned and with the right amount of strain, using the chain tensioners.

Assembly or removal of the hydraulic cylinders In order to remove the hydraulic cylinder, first remove the hydraulic hoses and the pin (A) (figure 15) from the articulator (B). Next, remove the screws (C) from the bearings (D), rendering the cylinder free to be removed.

Conjunto para plantio de trigo In the direct planting system for wheat, unmatched double disks (A) (figure 20) with 14- and 15-inch diameters are used. The assemblies are also composed by unmatched lines. The deposition mechanism is formed by telescopic conducers (B) for the fertilizer and telescopic conducers (C) for the seed, both deposited in a sole internal conducer (E), from the double disk, in order to drive the fertilizer and the seeds.

Transportation wheelset The Sower/Fertilizer Spreader PAMPEANA SUPER has an optional longitudinal transportation wheelset system with hydraulic actuation that allows transporting the sower by roads, gates and bridges where it would not be possible in its normal work position.
