    Because the HotSpotr 2.0 is active, i.e., it utilizes a fan to move air, it can overcome many obstacles and/or low-pressure areas of the underfloor region, effectively boosting airflow where more air is needed.

    The sensor’s inline connector allows you to quickly disconnect/reconnect the sensor head as needed.     The socket should participate in the same backup power arrangements as your CRAC units to ensure that the HotSpotr underfloor air mover continues to operate in similar periods as the cooling units during a facility power loss.     Operator Panel The HotSpotr 2.0 features an operator panel with user interface, status LED, and input connections, everything a user needs to monitor status and control operation.

    For a typical 2” thick floor tile, you should have at least 165mm (6.5”) from top of the floor  tile/walking surface to first obstruction. HotSpotr 2.0 will only fit if clearance is > than 165mm (6.5”).     Turn the knob to cycle through menu options and then press the knob to make a selection. The knob is also used to change settings and increase/decrease values.
