3. DISASSEMBLE 3.1 Disassemble the machine, as shown in the picture below: 3.3.1. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the 11pcs screws on the D cover. Please pay attention to keeping the maintenance surface clean and tidy. 3.3.3 Unplug the battery cable, use a screwdriver to unscrew the 2pcs screws on the battery, then take out and replace the battery.

3.3.6 Remove the motherboard 3.3.4 Use a screwdriver to unscrew the SSD card screw 1pcs, then remove the Use a screwdriver to remove the 6pcs screws on the motherboard SSD card from the motherboard, and then remove the DDR. 3.3.5 Remove the acetate cloth connecting the fan and the heat sink, use a screwdriver to unscrew the 3 PCS screws on the heat sink, and then remove 3.3.7 Loosen all the cables on the motherboard, unplug all the cables on the copper heat sink.

3.3.11 Remove the left hinge screw, open the right hinge and remove the C 3.3.8 Replace keyboard cover. Use a screwdriver to remove the 2pcs that hold the keyboard on the C cover, then use a plastic disassembly piece to extend the C cover to remove the keyboard.
4. MOTHERBOARD OVERVIEW 3.3.14 Remove the 6pcs screws of the hinge and the 2pcs screws of the screen, and separate the screen. 3.3.15 Slowly move the LCD away from the top area of the A cover, then re- lease the LCD cable area, and then take the LCD out of the A cover, paying attention to the separation LCD cable.

5. DIFFERENT FAILURE ANALYSIS 5.2 The keyboard does not work. 5.1 Fail to boot Check if the keyboard keys are intact and undamaged. If the key core is broken, replace the C cover keyboard. First check if the problem is caused by a bad battery or a completely dead back on.

5.4 Do not enter the system and restart Firstly, check if the fault can be resolved by updating the BIOS/EC and OS. Check if the issue is caused by high CPU temperature. Check if the DDR is functioning normally. Check if the CPU/EC solder joint is fake. 5.5 Replace LCD First check if the LCD or LCD FPC cable is causing the nondisplay.

Check if the antenna connector is properly fastened. If the issue is due to a motherboard failure, check if the WiFi module and its surrounding components are intact. If they are intact, check if the CPU is functioning normally. 5.7 Speaker is silent or has noise Check if the mute mode is on, if the speaker itself is functioning properly, and if replacing the speaker would resolve the issue.
