Step 1:
Remove the tent from the stuff bag and spread it out on a clean flat surface (placing the tent on a tarp or tent footprint
will greatly extend the life of your tent floor)
Step 2:
Remove the rain fly and set aside,
Step 3:
Remove the two equal length tent poles from the stuff bag and assemble them.
Step 4:
Carefully slide the tent poles through the colored pole sleeves (please note each pole will cross the other pole on the
sides of the tent)
Special note: Push the poles through the pole sleeves – do not pull or the poles will separate at the joints)
Step 5:
Once you have both poles threaded through the correct pole sleeves insert the pin at the corners of the tent into the
end of each pole. Once your tent is set up you should stake it carefully to the ground to keep it from blowing away in a
strong wind.
Step 6:
If you wish to install your rain fly, lay the rain fly over the top of the tent with the zippered vestibule over the front door of
the tent.
Step 7:
Carefully hook the S shaped hook at each end of the rain fly into the ring at the tent corners.
Step 8:
To complete the rain fly installation, stake out the front corner of the rain fly door. You may roll one side of the vestibule
back for easy access once the vestibule is staked out.
Storage:
Be sure to let your tent and rain fly dry thoroughly before you store your place them back in the stuff sack
Waterproofing your tent:
Your tent rain fly has been coated and the seams sealed at the factory but you may want to re-seal the seams
of your rain fly annually with a good quality tent seam sealer.
