Floor temperature controller with WLAN and Smart Home
for use in foile and heating mats
These instructions should be read carefully before starting installation work!
Product Summary:
The temperature controller can be operated both manually and automatically. It has a frost protection
and error alarm function, as well as a daily and weekly program for switching the surface heating on
and off. Surface heating elements up to 15 square meters (2400 watts) can be regulated with a
controller in parallel operation. A connected NTC sensor records the temperature in the heating level
and switches the heating power ON or OFF depending on the set temperature value. For this
purpose, the factory settings in the basic settings must be changed to the recommended settings.
Installation position of the temperature controller and the sensor
The temperature controller is attached to the wall at a height of 80 to 150 cm from the floor in order to be able to objectively measure the room
temperature. In locations with increased humidity, install the temperature controller as far as possible from sources of humidity in accordance with the
applicable standards. Do not mount the temperature controller too close to windows and doors, otherwise the measured values of the room temperature
could be falsified by the draft. Avoid direct sunlight.
The NTC sensor complies with DIN 44574. The sensor cable can be extended by 3 m using a power cable (1.5m²).
The sensor must be installed in a separate conduit so that it can be exchanged and interference from current-carrying lines is avoided.
Only the sensor belonging to the controller may be used.
Install the floor temperature sensor at least 15 cm in the heated surface - always in an installation pipe (corrugated plastic pipe). This is to be closed at
the end so that no building material penetrates the pipe. Do not cross any heating cables with the sensor! Place the sensor in the center or at least 3.5 cm
from the heating cables. The device may only be installed by a qualified electrician.

Installation:
The controller consists of an upper part and a lower part. The thermostat adopt pre-guide and limited snap-fit design.
It is easy to mount. Release front cover by inserting a head screw-driver into bottom crack.
Insert the wires and then fix these wires with screws. Suggested wire-stripping length is 7-9mm.
Mount backing plate into wall-cassette, put screws and then fix thermostat. Make sure that the thermostat is fixed without deformation.
Re-mount the front cover via snap-fit connection.
Connect the thermostat as follows:
1. Supply line mains phase (black / brown)
2. Supply neutral (blue)
3. Connection heating mat (blue)
4. Connection heating mat (brown / black)
5.
6. Connection sensor S1
7. Connection sensor S2
Only the sensor belonging to the watch may be used.
The metallic weave of the heating mats must be connecting to the
PE from the electricity supply system (PE / Cable Color green yellow).
Insert the device into the flush - mounted box without damaging the
connecting leads at the back of the device, then screw it onto the flush - mounted box with the supplied screw.
Hook the upper housing into the lower housing at the side and press firmly until the housing clicks into place.
