The EMU Professional II is compatible with the EMU MBus Center and our energy management software JoulioWeb (ISO 50001 certified). You profit from templates for the meter register configuration of the EMU Professional II as well as an easy incorporation of your EMU MBus Center and meters into JoulioWeb.
Installation The EMU Professional II is not dependent on location or position. The meter is designed to fit on 35mm DINrails (EN 50022) or to be installed with a front installation frame. To remove the meter from a DINrail just pull the springloaded bolt on the underside.

Tariff Note: A change of tariff on the LP version of the EMU Professional II is not set until the start of the next load profile interval. A tariff set at the beginning of an interval is set for at least the duration of this interval.
Real Time Clock (RTC) The real time clock of the EMU Professional II can be set directly on the energy meter or over optional interfaces. These interfaces (TCP/IP, MBus, LoRa) allow for a connection to a time server which allows the meter to synchronize itself.
Note: This setting is only available on meters with load profile activated. TCP/IP and LoRa meters have load profile exfactory. Note: Any LP version of the EMU Professional II has a fixed load profile interval of 15 minutes. This cannot be changed.

Note: The “PTBNV” status of the meter cannot be reversed in any way due to legal restrictions. Interval of Recording The interval for recording load profiles on the LP version of the EMU Professional II is set at 15 minutes and cannot be changed.

User Manual EMU Professional II Note: According to the PTBA 50.7 Certificate the time must be synchronized at least once every 2 weeks. If no synchronization occurs within these 2 weeks all load profiles after these 2 weeks are marked as “NV” until the next synchronization occurs.
Tariff Changes A change of tariff on the LP version (PTB 50.7 certified) of the EMU Professional II is set at the beginning of the next interval. A tariff is therefore always set for at least one interval period. For the LP version only the tworate tariff is available.

Once all 110’457 entries are full, the EMU Professional II automatically deletes the oldest 26 entries. The numeration of the load profiles however does not jump back to 0 but continues as if nothing happened.
