Getting started Use the power button on the back of your IHD to turn it on. It has an easy-to-use touch screen, connects wirelessly to your smart meter and has an in-built re-chargeable battery. It’s best to keep your device plugged in, and close to your smart meter for optimal signal.

Checking your energy usage You can track your energy usage over 18:00 Budget different time periods: £0.84 £0.62 1. Press the So far today button 2. Scroll through the time periods So far today to see your Usage now, So far this week, So far this month and So far this year.

Your usage is based on your previous week’s consumption. So if you are 18:00 using considerably more than the £0.84 previous week, the usage dial will be red. Usage now History You can view a breakdown of how much energy you have used the previous 13:05 week, in pounds and pence.

7. When your top-up is successful, your credit will be added to your meter 18:00 balance which you can see on the £10.52 home screen. £0.94 Meter balance £0.21 per/hr If your credit is not added to the meter straight away, you may need to wait 30 minutes until your gas meter wakes up.
Emergency credit If you have emergency credit available, the Emergency Credit Available 18:00 (E-Credit) green circle symbol will £0.52 appear.
