    CHAPTER 1 1. ER301 FINGERPRINT READER 1.1 DESCRIPTION ER301 is ELID fingerprint reader. It can store up to 9000 templates. Capable of working in 1:1 or 1:N. EM module is integrated inside ER301 for card reading capability. Matrix keypad 4*4 for easy programming and operation of ER301. It work like ELID famous reader EK9S and capable connect to ELID controller EL1300, EL1330, EL1370, and EL2307.

    LAN settings Under this menu, user is allowed to choose LAN communication or RS485 at Set Com. Mode. User has to give ER301 a unique Unit Number. This can be accomplished at Set unit No.. Baud rate setting can be changed at Set baudrate. Various baudrate are allowed, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600.

    ER301 User Manual Chapter 2 - Menu 2.3 CARD DATABASE MENU This menu is related to special card of ER301. Special card is installed for users that doesn't poessess a recognisable fingerprint. These users can use a normal electronic card to replace the fingerprint.

    Chapter 3 - ER301 Operations CHAPTER 3 3. ER301 OPERATIONS ER301 isn't just a fingerprint reader. It can operate as ELID EK9S with reader. EK9S can be used to program EL1330, ER301 can do the same as well. ER301 is not just designed for finger users but also non-finger users.

    EL1370. This include Card only mode or Card plus Pin mode on the controller. However, currently ER301 only support 900 special cards. This is the maximum figure for card users – if ER301 use as a reader to controller – even though the controller can support higher number but it will be limited by ER301 special cards.

    Chapter 3 - ER301 Operations 3.3 Pin Only Operation Since ER301 work as EK9S, it allows pin only entry as EK9S. To key in the pin, user has to install through Pin Only entry menu inside door controller menu such as EL1330.
