Please read this manual before using OmieBox® for the first time.
Hand wash with warm, soapy water and let everything dry completely.
Handwashing is best!
The high heat & harsh detergents used in dishwashers can damage OmieBox®. Gentle hand washing keeps your OmieBox® in tip top shape so you can enjoy it for a long time!
Install the lid seal to make your OmieBox® leakproof.
To install:
Wet foods (soup, yogurt) go in the Thermos!
The side compartments are great for dry foods (crackers, carrot sticks) but you can pack moist items here too. Just make sure there's < 1 tsp of liquid in each compartment.
To close OmieBox®, fold down the lid and latch it. Use the palms of your hands to push down on the box lid once it's closed. This will activate the lid seal.
The divider is great for keeping peas away from carrots but its sub-sections are not leakproof.
Don't put your OmieBox® in the microwave or freezer!
Always hand wash with non-abrasive sponge.
Be sure to remove the lid seal and gasket for cleaning everyday. They get icky if you miss this step. Make sure you let it dry completely before re-assembling.
Don't forget to put on the gasket after cleaning! If the gasket isn't installed, the Thermos will leak.
When not using, store OmieBox® without lid seal.
Lose something? Don't worry - we have lots of spare parts for sale on our website.

My thermos isn't keeping my food warm enough:
OmieBox® is designed for kids 3-8 years old. To minimize and prevent any potential burns on small children, we constructed the thermos to maintain food at slightly cooler temperatures than an adult might desire. But we do have a few pro tips to make sure your thermos works as designed! First - always preheat your thermos with hot water. Second - opt for foods like soup or items with sauce. Bread based items such as quesadillas or chicken nuggets won't stay warm very long.
If you think your thermos isn't performing at its best, you can test the insulation of your thermos by following the steps below:
