The lead acid battery can generate short circuit current sufficient to melt metal objects and cause fires. NEVER drop metallic objects on the vehicle battery. -

5. OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS ATTENTION Fully charge the JUMP STARTER before use. Recharge every 30 days or after each use. Temperature variations can accelerate the battery discharge process. Check the internal battery charge status frequently. Recharge the JUMP STARTER using only the supplied battery charger. WARNING ... - Page 8 C.
