NUX NTK-37/49/61 Firmware Update Guide
To ensure successful firmware update for your NTK-37/49/61, please strictly follow the steps in
this guide:
1. Download the latest firmware
· Visit the NTK-37/49/61 page on the NUX website, and download the firmware according to
your operating system (Windows or MacOS).
· Unzip the downloaded file, in which you can find the NUX Firmware Update Tool ("NUX
Device Updater.exe" for Windows, "NUX Device Updater 2.2.1.dmg" for MacOS) and the
firmware itself (.bin file).
2. Connect the NTK-37/49/61 and activate the firmware update mode
· Use a USB-MIDI cable, connect one end to the USB port on the right side of NTK-37/49/61
and the other end to your computer.
· Press and hold the "LOOP", "WRITE", and "SHIFT" buttons while turning on the POWER switch,
until "Device Firmware Update" appears on the screen.
3. Update firmware
· Run the Updater ("NUX Device Updater.exe" for Windows, "NUX Device Updater 2.2.1.dmg"
for MacOS on your computer.
· Below the updater name, it will show "NUX - NUX NTK-61 DFU - Device connected", which
means the NTK-37/49/61 has been connected successfully.
