*The Fn key toggles between function [1-12] and media modes. By default the media keys are active.

Start using the device

Connect the Balance Keyboard to your computer with the USB-cable.
There are three different routes options for the cable to fit you setup properly.

Function mode

By default, the Balance Keyboard has function mode (F1–F12) turned off, with the media keys set as active. To activate function mode, press "Fn" (1).

Function mode turned on
Hold "Fn" (1) + "Caps lock" (2), then press and release "D" (3).

Function mode turned off
Hold "Fn" (1) + "Caps lock" (2), then press and release "F" (4).

PC & Mac mode

Balance Keyboard is by default in PC mode. You can toggle between PC and Mac mode

Mac mode
Hold "Fn" (1) + "Caps lock" (2), then press and release "M" (3)

PC mode
Hold "Fn" (1) + "Caps lock" (2), then press and release "W" (4)

Unit tilt

The adjustable legs and tilt functions make it easy to set the keyboard in three different positions: negative, neutral, and positive tilt. When you place the keyboard in negative tilt, your hands automatically angle to the optimal position for typing - it leaves your fingers more relaxed while typing
