When used as skirting system,
sufficient clearance must be
allowed for between the floor
covering and the profile to
ensure contact with liquids from
wet treatment of floor is
prevented.
[3] Coupling of Base and Fittings
All base sections and fittings are coupled /
aligned using spring pins LDP1 (ø2.5 x 20mm).
Push pin into fixing rib that runs length of Base
section – approx. 10mm depth. NOTE: pins are
for coupling/alignment and not to maintain
continuity. For continuity Bonding Staps must be
used.
[2] Fitting of trunking
To fasten the base use No.8 round head screws & washers, Use of
plastic caps over screw heads is recommended to protect cables.
Base to base and Lid to Base bonding on all sections of trunking is
recommended to maintain continuity – when fitting any fabricated fitting
bonding from trunking base to fabrication base is also recommended.
[4] Internal Bends
Internal Bend is supplied as fabrication of base
with covers (removable) – fix base to wall and
butt up base lengths aligning with LDP1 pins,
then fit covers
[5] External Bends
External Bend is supplied as fabrication of
base with covers (removable) – fix base to
wall and butt up base lengths aligning with
LDP1 pins, then fit covers
