The sound does not come out of the soundbar when I change channels, IE, from an app like Apple TV to main tv via virgin v6
The tv has Earc, and the settings indicate the sound is outputting but it’s silent.
If I then go back to Apple TV 4 k the sound comes from the soundbar

Important: Before connecting ensure the devices you are about to connect are unplugged from main socket. Step 1: Connect the Oakcastle SB40 to your TV using an HDMI high speed cable (not included). Insert one end of the cable into the soundbar HDMI port (Ref.9) and the other end into the TV HDMI ARC port (check TV manual for reference).
Important : Before connecting ensure the devices you are about to connect are unplugged from main socket. Step 1: Connect the Oakcastle SB40 to your TV using an optical cable . Insert one end of the cable into the soundbar Optical port (Ref.8) and the other end into the TV Optical output port ( check TV manual for reference).

Insert one end of the audio cable into the soundbar AUX port (Ref.7) and the other end into your device AUX output port.
LED indicator will flash a blue light. Switch your device’s Bluetooth connectivity on and start searching for the soundbar. Select the 'Oakcastle SB40' from your device’s list when prompted to pair with the soundbar. When successfully connected, a beep will be heard from the soundbar, and the LED light indicator will stop flashing.
