GETTING STARTED BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Make sure the unit is turned Off. 2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery. 4. -

PRODUCT FEATURES 1. Off/Low/High Volume Control Switch Slide the Off/Low/High Volume Control Switch to the Low or High position. To turn the unit Off, slide the Off/Low/High Volume Control Switch to the Off position. 2. Activity Buttons Three activities build early reading skills through animation and interaction. - Page 8 5. Keyboard The keyboard is used to answer questions in the activities and interact with the phonics stories. 6. Settings Make the screen brighter or dimmer and set the background music on or off, then press the square button to choose.
- Page 9 9. Square Pause Button Square pause button during reading or songs, pressing the square pause button pauses the narration or song. A second press restarts the narration or song. 10. Up/Down Scroller During reading, scrolling up or down will go back to the previous page or go to the next page, then it will pause at the end of the current screen when the narration has ended.

TROUBLESHOOTING If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps: 1. Turn the unit Off. 2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. 3.
