Assemble components on a soft, clean surface to avoid damaging the finish.
ASSEMBLY
1. Slide Stake Support (B) over Step-in Stake (A).
2. Firmly secure Top Pole (D) to Bottom Pole (C). Then, firmly secure
to the step-in stake.
3. Firmly secure Bowl Frame (E) to the pole.
4. Place Bowl (F) into the bowl frame.
INSTALLATION
A shaded location is recommended for this bird bath; the metal can
become very hot in summer sun. Additionally, warm water is less
appealing to birds and is more likely to form algae and bacteria.
IMPORTANT: Take care not to push on the bowl or bowl frame during
installation as doing so may bend or break the unit.
1. Choose a location with soil that is firm enough to support the staked
bird bath while it is in use. Installing into loose soil may result in the
unit tipping over.
2. Ensuring the pole remains straight, push the step-in stake into
the ground and step on it until it is flush with the ground. If you
encounter resistance during installation, do not force the prongs into
the ground; check for obstructions such as stones or tree roots.
3. Align the groove in the stake support with the main stake. Using
gentle force, alternate stepping on each side of the stake support
until it is fully installed into the ground.
