Product Overview
The Linortek Netrixx LED display is a versatile visual
messaging system that can:
-
Operate as a standalone device
-
Integrate with Linortek Netbell series for automated
alerts
-
Display count-down/count-up timers
-
Use as a large digital clock
Installation Steps
Step 1: Physical Mounting
-
Select an appropriate indoor mounting location
-
For drywall installation:
o Use drywall anchors rated for minimum 10
pounds
o Mark mounting points using the two tabs on
top of frame
o Install anchors according to manufacturer
specifications
o Verify secure mounting before proceeding
Step 2: Connector Identification
The Netrixx has four connectors (left to right):
-
Digital Input (DIN) - External device integration
-
Power (PWR) - 5VDC power input
-
Ethernet (NET) - Network connector
-
USB - Configuration interface
Step 3: Initial Configuration
NOTE: Current version supports USB configuration
only. Network configuration will be available in future
updates.

Connect the provided USB cable:

o Plug the USB-B end (square-shaped connector)
into the USB port on Netrixx display
o Plug the USB-A end (flat rectangular connector)
into any available USB port on your PC

Install Netrixx Writer desktop application
-
Complete initial configuration through the Netrixx
Writer app
Step 4: Network Connection

Connect one side of the Ethernet cable to the ETH
port on Netrixx display
-
The other side of the cable to an available port on
your network switch/router
-
The display will obtain IP address via DHCP
To find the display's IP address:
Method A: Using Netrixx Writer

Open Netrixx Writer application
-
Click "Quick Commands" button
-
Select "Display IP Address"
-
IP address will appear on LED display
Method B: Using IP Scanner
-
Download IP scanner from:
https://angryip.org/download/#windows
-
Scan your network
-
Look for device with Port 8080 (no hostname)
TIP: Consider setting up DHCP reservation on your
router for consistent IP addressing
Step 5: Power Connection

Connect the provided power supply to PWR port
-
Plug power supply into AC outlet
WARNING: Use ONLY the provided 5VDC power
supply. Incorrect voltage will damage the LED display.
Step 6: Startup Verification
After power connection, the display will show:
-
With network connection: Shows current time in
EST (HH:MM:SS)
-
Without network connection: Shows 00:00:00
(HH:MM:SS)
Troubleshooting Guide

Display Not Powering On
o Verify power supply connection
o Check AC outlet functionality
-
No Network Connection
o Confirm Ethernet cable connections
o Verify network switch/router operation
o Check IP address assignment

Can't Configure the Display from Writer
o Ensure USB cable is properly connected
o Verify Netrixx Writer software installation
