49-2500 EnvironMet System Water Connections for EcoMet™ Grinder-Polishers 1. Connect one end of the supplied ¼-inch water hose to the Water Outlet Fitting located on the top of the EnvironMet Filtering Tank (see Figure 1). 2. Connect the other end of the water hose to the grinder-polisher water inlet port. 49-2500 EnvironMet System Water Connections for Phoenix Grinder-Polishers The Water Outlet Fitting on the top of the EnvironMet Filtering Tank will accept a ½-inch OD plastic hose. -

Filter Installation 1. Loosen and remove all six orange handles on top of the EnvironMet Filtering Tank (see Figure 4). Operation 40-2500 EnvironMet Filtering and Recirculating System 1. Close all water control valves on the associated grinder-polisher connected to the EnvironMet System. 2. Close the Air Stop Valve (see Figure 6). 3. Connect an air-line to the EnvironMet System. 4. Fill the 6-gallon Water Reservoir with approximately 5 gallons (18.9 L) of water. 5. -

Maintenance The EnvironMet System will continue to perform at optimum levels with proper care, daily cleaning, and general maintenance. Changing Filter Discs CAUTION Equipment Damage. The Filter Chamber is under extreme pressure and should not be opened until the Air Stop Valve is closed and water flow to the grinder-polisher has been activated and is allowed to run until the pressure in the Filter Chamber reaches zero. -
