The car’s position in front of the speaker post’s microphone, at the recommended distance, depends on the following: • Where the Speaker post is located at the drive thru and • A car’s turn radius SOUND PRESSURE is the determining factor in the quality of sound collected from the microphone.
If the menu sign or speaker post you are working with is different than those shown in the instructions, you may need to modify the procedure. The PAR Digital Microphone box and Foam Assembly may only be mounted inside a post.

Inspect and Test the Digital Microphone to Finalize Install Inspect the speaker post to see if: • The microphone has moved out of position. • Any speaker post acoustic treatment material has slipped in front of the microphone. • The microphone is angled in such a way that its perpendicular axis is no longer in line with the customer in the vehicle.
