Livello di potenza: mostra il livello di potenza della batteria del dispositivo, diventerà... - Page 7 Istruzioni delle funzioni 1. CONT (Test di continuità del cavo) Modalità: Remote e Switch. Remote: può testare la continuità e la condizione incrociato/cortocircuito. Switch: può solo testare la continuità del cavo. Prendere la modalità remota come esempio. Inserire un’estremità del cavo nella porta “CONT” sul trasmettitore e l’altra estremità nella porta sul ricevitore, utilizzare i tasti SU/GIÙ per cambiare tra le due modalità e scegliere “Remote”, selezionare “Start” quindi premere il tasto “OK” per avviare il test. - Page 8 2. SCAN (Tracciamento cavi) Se il cavo è RJ45 inserire un’estremità nella porta “CONT/SCAN” del trasmettitore. L’altra estremità è connessa alla porta dello switch. Se il cavo è RJ11 inserire un’estremità nella porta “RJ11” del trasmettitore. Trasmettitore: Per impostazione predefinita è su Digital Mode, utilizzare i tasti SU/GIÙ per cambiare tra le due modalità: • Digital Mode (modalità digitale) • Analog Mode (modalità analogica) Modalità digitale Modalità digitale: anti-interferenza, quando si tracciano cavi (con carico) da switch 1000M, è consigliato di usare questa modalità. Modalità analogica: con poco disturbo, è consigliato di usare questa mo- dalità quando si tracciano cavi senza carico. Quindi avvicinare la sonda all’ estremità del cavo in prova. Si ricerca il cavo di rete con il suono più forte. La regolazione della sensibilità mediante la manopola, può aiutare a identificare il cavo più velocemente.

PORT FLASH (Lampeggio porta switch) Dal menù principale selezionare “Port Flash”. Inserire un’estremità del cavo nella porta “Flash/Lenght” del trasmettitore e l’altra estremità nella porta dello switch. Il punto verde sullo schermo lampeggerà alla stessa frequenza dell’indicato- re della porta sullo switch.

LENGHT (Misurazione lunghezza del cavo) Inserire un’estremità del cavo nella porta “Flash/Lenght” del trasmettitore (non collegare l’altra estremità del cavo), scegliere il tipo corretto di cavo (CAT5/CAT6), impostare l’unità di misura per il risultato (Me- tro/Yard/Piedi) premendo “OK”, quindi premi “OK” per misurare la lunghezza del cavo (la portata migliore è 5-200 m), il risultato verrà visualizzato in coppie di pin. - Page 11 6. PING (Test Ping) Si consiglia di impostare IPV4 la prima volta per utilizzare la funzione di test Ping. Dopo aver inserito l’indirizzo Ping, l’utente può utilizzare i pulsanti SU/GIÙ per scegliere “Set IP” per impostare IP locale, Subnet Mask e Gateway; dopo averli impostati, l’utente deve salvare le impostazioni dopodiché è possibile tornare a utilizzare le funzioni di scansione Ping. Product usage Main menu icons AUTO-OFF: Customers can see the icon " "on the left top of the screen when the function is ON, Customers can choose to turn it off in "Set". Power Level: Show the battery power level of the device, it will turn to Green when charging, and stays white when in use. -

Function instructions 1. CONT (Cable Continuity Test) Modes: Remote and Switch. Remote: Can test cable continuity, Cross/ Short Condition. Switch: Can only test cable continuity. Take remote mode as an example. Insert one end of the cable into the “CONT” port on the transmitter and the other end into the port on the receiver, use the UP/DOWN buttons to change between the two modes and choose “Remote”, turn to “Start” then press “OK” to test. SCAN (Cable Tracking) If the cable is RJ45, insert one end into the “CONT/ SCAN” port on the transmitter. The other end is connected to the switch port. If the cable is RJ11, insert one end into the “RJ11” port on the transmitter. Transmitter: By default it is set to Digital Mode, use the UP/ DOWN buttons to change between the two modes: • Digital Mode • Analog Mode Digital Mode Digital Mode: anti-interference, when tracking cables with load from 1000M switches, customers were suggested use this mode. Analog Mode: with little noise, customers were suggested to use this mode when tracking cables without load. Then bring the probe close to the end of the cable under test. The network cable with the loudest sound is searched for. Adjusting the sensitivity using the knob can help you identify the cable more quickly.

4. LENGHT (Cable Length Measurement) Insert one end to the Length port of the device (Keep the other end empty), Choose the right type of the cable (CAT5/ CAT6), Set the unit for the result (Meter/ Yard/Feet) by pressing “OK”, then press “OK” to measure the cable length (Best range will be 5-200m), the result will be displayed in pin pairs. When measuring broken cables, if the broken point is too close to the empty end (less than 3% of the full length), due to technical reason, the device will show the full length of the cable, in that case customers were suggested Cable Length to measure the length from the other end to locate the broken point. - Page 24 6. PING (Ping test) It is recommended to set IPV4 for the first time to use Ping test function. After inputting Ping address, user can use UP/DOWN button to choo- se “Set IP” to set Local IP, Subnet Mask and Gateway, after setting them, user should save the settings, then can go back to use Ping scan functions.
