BEFORE FIRST USE • Remove all packing material and stickers from immersion blender and accessories. • Carefully remove the plastic blade protectors from the food processor blades. WARNING: BLADES ARE SHARP. • Thoroughly clean the beaker and attachments – blender, masher, whisk, and food processor blade and container with warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge and dry completely. - Page 6 BLENDER ATTACHMENT The blender attachment is perfect for preparing soups, sauces, dips, salad dressings, baby food, and drinks such as milkshakes and smoothies. It can be used directly in cookware. ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION • Connect blender attachment directly to blender motor and turn clockwise until it locks into position, using the locked and unlocked icons as a guide.
- Page 7 CAUTION: • If using the appliance to puree hot food in cookware, remove cookware from the heat source to ensure the liquid is not boiling. NEVER use in cookware over direct heat. Allow hot food to cool slightly to avoid risk of scalding.
