The CAPTUR E-SEAT board allows you to control up to 31 extraction stations (fume cupboards, arms, hoods, etc.) directly from the HMI or from PC-based supervision software. All information is...
1. Presentation The CAPTUR E-SEAT controller is a remote-control controller that allows you to control the CONTROL E-SEAT and L.COM E-SEAT installed on each of the extraction stations. This connection is established through a MODBUS RTU link and allows information to be collected and viewed on the Supervision software or on a BMS.

PC or BMS The CAPTUR E-SEAT card acts as a flow summer. It recovers the flow rates of each CONTROL E-SEAT and sends back a 0-10V signal to an air supply that is proportional to the extraction. The 0-10V outputs can be adjusted with a coefficient to have a more precise setting.
2. Mechanical installation 2.1. Dimensions Setting up the HMI The HMI can be attached with screws to the top and bottom of the housing. First install the lower screw on the support, letting it protrude so that the HMI slides over it, then remove the upper cover with a small flat screwdriver to screw the upper part.
The CAPTUR E-SEAT board and its HMI can be installed at the customer's convenience in the laboratory. The HMI must still be accessible and visible to be able to guarantee proper use and be properly alerted in the event of a problem.

Installation menu These menus allow you to configure the controller during installation, they allow you to adjust for example the coefficients of the outputs or the IP address. There are 3 levels of settings accessible with the code 100, 200 and 300. To access these different menus, you must hold the red button for 3s then choose the access code using the Up...
Pressing (back) removes the question mark The CAPTUR E-SEAT's buzzer can be deactivated by pressing down again when the delay is set to 0s. A long press on allows you to exit the setting mode.
It is possible to verify that all controllers are connected by pressing briefly the buttons at the same time. Next, you must adjust the thresholds of the CAPTUR E-SEAT. This allows the 0-10V output to be adjusted according to the minimum and maximum extraction flowrates.
SCANNING MAX FLOW The CAPTUR E-SEAT board queries all controllers to evaluate the maximum total flow rate and associates it with a 10 V output. This allows the output voltage to be calibrated to be consistent with the calculated extracted flow.

Ethernet cable. In the code 300 installation menu, an IP address must be assigned to the CAPTUR E-SEAT controller, this address must be assigned on the same subnet as the supervision PC. Contact the network administrator to find out the rules used in the installation premises.

Once these changes have been validated, open the "SUPERVISON" software. You will be asked for an IP address. Then enter the IP of the CAPTUR E-SEAT card (the one chosen in the installation menu code 300) for example 192.168.2.1 and then validate.
