    You can control the Varèse music system in three ways that work seamlessly together and guarantee the best user experience, regardless of how you interact with your music. dCS Mosaic ACTUS Use the application when you want full control over your system directly from your favourite mobile device.

    You can use the app to browse media from various streaming services, as well as manage your Varèse settings and configuration options. To download dCS Mosaic ACTUS, visit the app store on your iOS or Android device and search for dCS Mosaic ACTUS.

    Standby Units consume low power but remain connected to the network. You can turn on the system from the unit, from the Remote Control or using dCS Mosaic ACTUS. Rest The system can start playback quickly and you can charge the Remote Control using the mode USB socket at the rear of the Core.

    This ensures the highest level of measured performance, as concluded by dCS engineers. When listening to PCM, this preset is what dCS listening tests have shown to be preferred settings. When listening to DSD, this preset is what dCS listening tests have shown to be preferred settings.
  • Page 16 Menu Filter Description icon Filter 1 This filter has the best rejection of unwanted Nyquist images with the sharpest roll-off, and the poorest transient response of the first four filters. Filter 2 Recommended for orchestral music. This filter has a more relaxed image rejection and better transient response than Filter 1.
