Tone Splendor Mk2

The Tone Splendor Mk2 is a variant of the Tonebender Mk2 modified for silicon transistors
with minimal circuit changes. It provides classic high-sustain fuzz sounds associated with the
original without any need for special bias considerations or transistor selection.
The original Tonebender Mk2 circuit is similar to the classic Fuzz Face (and Tonebender Mk1.5)
circuits, with an additional gain stage at the input for a more intense fuzz sound. It was a
positive ground circuit, which can cause problems when using a non-isolated power supply.

The Tone Splendor Mk2 is a negative ground
circuit, so it can be powered and daisy-chained
with any common 9V pedal supply. Like the
original, it has a very low current draw for a long
battery life (battery optional).
