Introduction

Hi there, Matthew here. I started Loftie because I believe everyone deserves better sleep and a more balanced, fulfilling life. Good sleep is the foundation of well-being, and we've designed our products to support your journey to rest and relaxation. The Loftie Clock is more than just an alarm clock; it's a companion to bring calm to your nights and joy to your mornings.

Let's get you set up!

  1. Plug in Loftie Clock
    We recommend you keep your Loftie Clock plugged in at all times. Push it in firmly to make sure your Loftie Clock is plugged in. Loftie Clock will turn on automatically when plugged in.
  2. Download the Loftie App
    Install the Loftie app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Follow the steps in the app to connect Loftie Clock to WiFi.
  3. Connect Loftie Clock to Wifi
    Make sure you have Bluetooth enabled on your phone and a 2.4ghz WiFi connection available. After successfully connecting, Loftie Clock will restart and update to the latest software, which may take up to 15 minutes.

An ever-growing sound collection

Updates
The software on your Loftie Clock is fully updatable! That means new sounds and features. When a new update is out, simply restart your Loftie Clock and the update will start. Keep an eye on your email to know when an update is available.

Initial Sounds Sync
Your Loftie Clock may continue to download more audio content for the next few hours. You'll see an! next to a track if it is not yet synced on your device.

Shortcuts


Volume Shortcut
Hold either arrow button to quickly adjust the volume level for sounds.

Pause/Play
Click the select button once to pause or play your current or last played sound.

Blackout Mode
Hold down the snooze button for a completely dark sleep environment. Click any button to turn it back on.

Navigating Loftie Clock

Snooze Button
Snoozes your alarm for the default 9 minutes or a duration of your choice. Press it to turn on the nightlight and hold it to black out the clock face completely. It also serves as a back button to take you back to the previous menu.

Arrow Buttons
Use these buttons to navigate Loftie Clock's menu. Press and hold either arrow button to bring up the volume control.

Select Button
This button turns off the alarm and plays the last sound you used on Loftie Clock. You can also use it to enter a menu or confirm any changes.

Using Loftie Clock

Your Loftie Clock is a lot in a little package. Let's go over what you can find and where.


Alarms
You can find all things alarms here. Set or edit an alarm and change the volume or tones. The next scheduled alarm will be displayed on the lower left corner of the clock face.

Sounds
All tracks in the Sounds menu are looped for seamless, continuous listening and range from a full spectrum of color noises to nature sounds.

Playlists
Playlists are where you'll find wellness content curated for Loftie Clock, including breathwork, meditations, sleep stories, and music. Tracks play individually unless Play All is selected.

Bluetooth
Select Bluetooth to stream audio from another device.

Settings

You will find the following under your Settings menu:

Sound Volume
There are two volume settings: one for alarms and one for playing audio.
Brightness
Adjust the brightness of the clock face.
Nightlight
Adjust the brightness of your nightlight.
Bed Signal
Set the time and turn on/off.
Sleep Timer
Play content or a sound and have it stop after a set time.
Get a Code
Pair your Loftie Clock to the app.
Set Time Zone
Manually set your time zone.
Set Time Mode
Switch between 12-hour or 24-hour time.
Forget WiFi
Select when connecting to a new WiFi network.
Power Off/Restart
Power off when you're updating or not using your Loftie Clock. When your clock is plugged in, it will say "restart".
P.S. You can see what software version Loftie Clock is running at the end of the Settings menu.

What is Loftie+?

Loftie+ is a subscription service that enhances your Loftie Clock experience with access to exclusive content like sleep stories, meditations, and affirmations.

Loftie+ Membership

If you purchased Loftie+ with your clock, you're automatically subscribed to a one month free trial.
Once your trial is over, you will be charged $4.99 per month.

Cancel Loftie+

  1. Open the Loftie app and navigate to Account
  2. Under Settings, select Loftie+ Membership
  3. Select "Cancel Membership"

FAQs

What is the two phase alarm?

Loftie Clock's unique alarm system consists of two different alarm sounds separated by a default 9 minute snooze (or another duration of your choice). The first alarm, the Wake-Up alarm, will sound for 30-40 seconds. After the Wake-Up alarm, Loftie Clock will automatically snooze for 9 minutes, followed by the Get-Up alarm, which will play until it's turned off by pressing the small circular button on the top right of the Loftie Clock. (Or snoozed, with the oval button, for another 9 minutes in bed). You can adjust both sounds in the Alarms —> Settings menu.

What is the Bed Signal?

The Bed Signal is a gentle reminder that it's time to wind down and start getting ready for bed. You can turn on the Bed Signal and set your bedtime in the Settings menu. You can confirm the Bed Signal is turned on when you see a crescent moon displayed in the top right corner of your clock face. The Bed Signal will play every day unless it is turned off in the Settings. At the set time, the Bed Signal will play the Loftie Clock lullaby and the nightlight will turn on. You can dismiss the Bed Signal by pressing any button either during or after the lullaby.

Can I have a different volume for my alarm than sounds?
Yes! Loftie Clock has two separate volume controls, one for the alarm and one for other sounds.
To adjust your alarm volume on your Loftie Clock, go to Alarms —> Settings —> Volume. To adjust the volume for other sounds, go to Settings —> Volume.

Can I use Loftie without WiFi?

Loftie Clock is a WiFiconnected device and needs to be connected to WiFi in order to function as intended. Loftie Clock can only connect to a 2.4ghz network.

How do I reconnect my Loftie to WiFi?

If you're connecting Loftie Clock to a new WiFi network, select Forget WiFi under Settings on your Loftie Clock. Within the phone app, select "Reconnect Loftie to WiFi" and follow the instructions.

What is a one-time alarm?

One-time alarms allow you to set an alarm without it needing to repeat or be part of a schedule. This option is available on the Loftie Clock and App.

How long does the battery last?

If the Loftie Clock is unplugged, the battery lasts around 3-7 hours depending on usage. As with all lithium batteries, the duration that your battery holds a charge may gradually decrease as it ages.

Can I set different alarm tones for each day?
You can customize your alarm schedule for different days, but the alarm sound will stay the same every day.

Can I set multiple alarms?

You can set different alarm times for each day of the week using both the Loftie app and the clock itself.

Do I need the app to control all features?

You only need the app to set up your Loftie device. After that, you don't need to use it, unless you'd like to.

Can I adjust the nightlight?

Yes, adjust the nightlight brightness via the Loftie app or directly on the clock by going to Settings —> Nightlight.

Does the Loftie Clock require a subscription?

No, the Loftie Clock does not require a subscription to function. You can use all of its core features without subscribing to Loftie+. However, subscribing to Loftie+ gives you access to additional content like exclusive sleep stories, meditations, and personalized features.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and manufactured to ensure your personal safety. However, improper use can result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. Please read all safety and operating instructions carefully before installation and use, and keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note of all warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.

  1. Water and Moisture: The unit should not be used near water. For example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet basement.
  2. Ventilation: The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, it should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block ventilation openings. Also, it should not be placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, which may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.
  3. Heat: The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  4. Power Sources: The unit should be connected to the power supply which included.
  5. Cleaning: The unit should be cleaned only using a warm damp cloth. Do not use solvents, etc.
  6. Objects and Liquid Entry: Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into any openings or vents located on the product.
  7. Attachments: Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer.
  8. Lightning and Power Surge Protection: Unplug the Power supply (adapter) from the wall socket during a lightning storm or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning.
  9. Overloading: Do not overload wall sockets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
  10. Damage Requiring Service: The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
    1. the power supply (plug) has been damaged.
    2. objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.
    3. the unit has been exposed to rain.
    4. the unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
    5. the unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.
  11. Periods of Nonuse: If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time, such as a month or longer, the power supply(adapter) should be unplugged from the unit to prevent damage or corrosion.
  12. Servicing: The user should not attempt to service the unit beyond those methods described in the user's operating instructions. Service methods not covered in the operating instructions should be referred to qualified service personnel.

CLEANING THE PRODUCT
If cleaning is required, use only a dry, soft cloth or a minimally damp cloth without any corrosive solvent or cleaning agent.
